Jawan Larrki ki Shadi Naag Rajkumaar se kiu hui | Lessonable and Educational story

Please fulfill the purpose for which I have come to this colony. I will leave from here without harming anyone. He was just looking at Zainab with his cold eyes [music]. The wave of fear reached its peak when the village’s headman Chaudhary Hashmat reached there. As he drew his gun [music] the snake grew so large that it surpassed human height, and the entire village witnessed a scene that had n’t happened in centuries.
The snake’s hood trembled and a heavy, royal, yet majestic human voice echoed in the air. Stop, you clay dolls, if any of you makes any move, the soil of this village will become your grave. I have not come here to hunt but to take my bride. Marry me with this girl and make her my bride and send her away with me. I will go away without harming anyone.
There was silence in the entire village. The ground slipped from under Zainab’s feet. The snake’s gaze was now fixed directly on Zainab’s eyes, and there was no longer anger in them, but a city of ancient love. That unlucky night had fallen like a heavy burden on the entire village. The presence of that black snake outside Zainab’s hut [music] was no longer a secret.
That nose was no longer just an animal but had become a puzzle for the entire village, for which no one had the answer. At first he just kept guarding the doorstep of Zainab’s house. But then he started moving towards the streets of the village. The strange thing was that he neither teased any cattle nor attacked any passerby.
He would just silently creep to where Zainab was. If Zainab went to fetch water from the well, he would hang his nose from the branch of a nearby peepal tree and watch her. If she was in the fields, he would hide in the bushes and follow her. The women of the village stopped going to the well. The children were confined to their homes [MUSIC] and the men took out their sticks and guns.
This wretched girl will get our children killed. I wonder what crime this girl must have committed that this punishment was inflicted upon everyone. This is not the snake that is after Zainab. There is a possibility of some major mishap. Outside the village mosque, a crowd of people was shouting with anger and fear.
Finally, the patience ran out. Chaudhary Hashdat decided that the story of this Zainab must be ended tonight. In the late hours of the night, the sky was hidden behind the clouds. The men of the entire village moved towards Zainab’s hut holding torches. Their faces looked terrifying in the orange light of the torches.
Zainab was sitting scared inside her hut. He could hear people shouting from outside. Get this trouble out. Today we will burn it to ashes. As soon as the crowd entered Zainab’s courtyard , the black snake emerged from the darkness. Seeing its size, people stopped in their tracks. It was so big that its hood shone like a black shield in the light of the torches.
Chaudhary Hashdat gathered courage and pointed his gun. Today is your last day. He was just about to pull the trigger when suddenly [music] such a thunderous and loud sound reverberated in the air that torches started falling from people’s hands. This sound was not coming from any human throat but from the spread hood of that snake.
There was such charm and grace in his voice that the entire gathering was mesmerized. Stop it, foolish people. My death is not in your hands but your destruction is definitely in your hands. People were left wide-eyed [MUSIC]. A snake was speaking, this was a sign of doom. Zainab opened the door with a tremor [music] and was stunned by the scene outside.
The snake raised its head and its golden eyes circled the entire gathering. You all are living in fear. Your children are scared. So listen. I can bathe this village in blood. I can reduce your crops to ashes and bury your generations in this wasteland. But I don’t want destruction. A strange yearning emerged in the snake’s voice.
Then he turned towards Zainab who was shivering against the wall. [MUSIC] If you want to save yourself and your children. If you want that this village should never be harmed then marry this girl Zainab to me. Make him my life partner. And I promise that this village will come under my protection forever.
[Music] Otherwise, remember, there will be only mourning here before the sun rises. There was silence after hearing this. Chaudhary Hashmat, who was showing bravery till now, now had sweat on his forehead. Selfishness is in human nature and when life is at stake, the first thing a person does is trade his loved ones.
Chaudhary sahib, what is he saying ? Marriage with a snake, a villager asked tremblingly. Hashmat turned and looked at the crowd. He saw in the eyes of the people not sympathy for Zainab but a yearning to save their lives. He cast a cold and cruel glance at Zainab. Zainab, you see the life of the entire village is in your hands.
If you agree, we will all be saved. No, Chaudhary Sahib, what are you saying? [Music] Zainab screamed. He is an animal. There is a problem. How am I? How can I marry him ? You throw me into the fire alive. But don’t do this injustice. But the crowd started making noise. We don’t want to die. Hand Zainab over to him.
Why should the entire village be destroyed for the sake of one orphan girl? Mai devotees came forward and tried to embrace Zainab. But the soldiers pushed him back [MUSIC]. Zainab looked helplessly at the people for whom she had worked hard since childhood. Today the same people were demanding his sacrifice.
He looked at Nak [MUSIC] whose eyes were still fixed on him. There was no threat in those eyes now, but a sad truth. It is acceptable. Chaudhry Hashdat announced loudly. Zainab will marry this snake. Tonight, right at this very moment, the ground slipped from under Zainab’s feet. He felt as if the sky had fallen on him.
He was forcibly caught and taken towards the mansion. Zainab was sitting in the middle of the courtyard. Her red dress felt more like a shroud than a wedding dress [music]. His tears were not stopping. She was pleading. She was folding her hands. Chaudhary Saheb, for God’s sake, please have mercy on me.
I have fed all your daughters. I have served your homes. Do n’t subject me to this trouble while I am alive. Have humans ever married snakes ? There was so much agony in Zainab’s voice that it could melt even a stone. But the hearts of the people standing in front were filled with fear and profit [music].
Chaudhary Hashadat thundered in his heavy voice. Stop it Zainab. This is not a matter of your life alone. It is a question of the entire village’s livelihood. That nose is waiting for our death. If we get peace in exchange for an orphan girl then it is not a bad deal. You become a symbol of sacrifice for us.
The date will remember you. Voices emerged from the crowd. Yes, he will have to get married. We will not let our children become victims of this problem. There was only one voice that rose against this oppression. Mai Bakhtoon raised her trembling hand and stood in front of Zainab. Be ashamed, you claimers of honour.
Your hands are not trembling while throwing an innocent girl in front of a beast. Do n’t you have daughters in your homes? But Mai Bakht’s voice was drowned by the sea of noise. [MUSIC] The soldiers pushed him aside. Now that black snake appeared in a corner of the courtyard. His heavy body crawling on the floor was making such a noise that it was enough to make the blood of the people present there freeze.
He sat quietly curled up on one side. As if waiting for the outcome of this drama. The Nikah Khawa, whose hand [music] contained the paper, was shaking violently. Sat close to Zainab. His face was drenched in sweat and his voice was stuck in his throat. Daughter Zainab, are you? Are you ready for this marriage ? He barely managed to utter this sentence.
Zainab took one last look around. He did not see any affection like that of Mai Bakhtoon [music] in any eyes. There was only fear or there was a hurry for this girl to leave from here so that they could close the doors of their houses and sleep peacefully. He realized that his own people had already killed him. Now only the ritual is left.
She lowered her moist eyelids and assumed a silence that was indicative of some deep [music] shock. The Nikah Khawan took her silence as consent or perhaps he too hurried to save his life. When the stage of acceptance of the consent came, it came out from Zainab’s lips. Yes. It scattered in the air like a sob.
As soon as the words of marriage were over. That black snake changed its direction and crawled very close to Zainab. People started retreating in panic. The cobra touched a corner of Zainab’s scarf with its hood as if signaling her to come with it. Zainab got up. His steps were heavy. As if she was moving towards a cross. While coming out of the courtyard, she turned back once and looked at her village for which she was sacrificing herself.
But now the torches were being extinguished there. People were running towards their homes [MUSIC]. As if they want to avoid even testifying to this crime. In the silence of the night, Zainab followed the mysterious snake into the deep darkness of the forest from where there was no way back. Was this his last night or the beginning of something bigger? This secret was now going to be revealed only in that dark hut.
That night in the forest was so dark that one could not see one’s own hand. The sound of Zainab’s footsteps on dry leaves and the rustling sound of the heavy nose creeping behind her created a terrifying ahaang [music] that was enough to scare the life out of any faint-hearted person.
Zainab’s red saree had got stuck in the bushes and was torn to pieces at many places. But he was neither worried about his clothes nor about his feet getting injured by the thorns. He just felt that this was the last journey of his life. Deep in the forest where the trees were so dense [music] that even the moonlight could not reach the ground.
There stood a dilapidated and old hut. Its walls were made of mud and the roof was made of straw. But as the snake approached the hut [music], a strange blue light began to surround it. The snake changed its direction and crawled inside the hut. It seemed as if the ground had gripped Zainab’s feet. Death was standing in front [music] but there was no way to turn back because the villagers had already buried him alive.
He took a deep breath. He closed his eyes, took the name of Allah and stepped into that dark room. As soon as he took his first step inside the hut, [MUSIC] a miracle happened. The rot and wild smell outside suddenly disappeared and the air was filled with the famous Kun fragrance of Oud, sandalwood and jasmine.
Zainab opened her eyes fearfully and was stunned with surprise. Which looked like a dilapidated hut from outside. The inside was decorated like a room in a royal palace. The silk curtains, the dim light of kerosene lamps and the fine carpets spread on the floor were presenting a dreamlike scene. But the biggest shock was yet to come.
Zainab ‘s eyes fell on the corner where the black snake was present. There was no longer that terrifying threat, but a haze of light was forming. [Music] As the light dimmed, a young man of very tall stature and royal physique was seen standing there. [MUSIC] His robes were embroidered with gold, and his eyes had the same golden glow as the snake’s.
An incomplete scream came out of Zainab’s throat and she fell back against the wall. Who are you? Where did that trouble go? His voice was trembling. The young man extended his hand very calmly and gently. Don’t be afraid Zainab. I am the same person whom you fed milk when he was wounded and for whom you traded your life today. Zainab’s eyes remained wide open.
How is this possible? I have married a snake. A sad smile appeared on the young man’s face. My name is Shah Mir. I am the heir to the kingdom across the border. Which you thought was an animal. She was actually a prisoner. A black magic that my real uncle had done on me so that he could take over the [musical] throne.
Shahamir narrated his story while sitting on a chair placed in the middle of the hut. My uncle had transformed me into this form through a black magician and left me to wander in the forests. The condition of the magic was that I could become a human being only if there was a girl who did not have even a trace of impurity in her heart.
Seeing my terrible form, he felt pity for me. Give me life and then accept me as your husband in front of the world. He looked at Zainab. On whose face, instead of fear, emotions of surprise and sympathy were now emerging. Zainab the magician thought that there would be no girl in the world who would marry someone with one nose.
He thought that I would continue to suffer in this form till now. But you proved that a person’s talent lies not in his appearance but in his heart. Your decision to marry has broken the last chain of magic. Zainab felt as if a huge burden had been lifted from her shoulders. The death she was afraid of was actually the beginning of a new life.
He looked at Shahamir’s face where there was now a Fateha glow. So are you free now? Zainab asked softly. Shahamir got up and stood close to him. Yes Zainab, I am free. But my revenge is still pending. It is important to tell those villagers who threw you in front of an animal that the girl whom they sacrificed thinking her helpless has today become the queen of a kingdom.
A new pride arose in Zainab’s eyes. He remembered the love of Mai Bakht and also the cruelty of Chaudhary Hasdat. Now Zainab was not an oppressed girl but the life partner of a prince. Now the return journey was to begin. But this journey was not one of humiliation [music] but one of respect and revenge.
Shahamir held Zainab’s hand. Tomorrow when the sun rises, the soil of this village will see a new scene. Get ready Zainab. Now you [sangeet] will step into this village like a queen. The next morning, when the first rays of the sun touched the soil of the village, a change was felt in the atmosphere which no one had even imagined.
There was a strange excitement in the chirping of birds today as if they were giving the news of the arrival of some great and glorious thing. The villagers who remained awake the whole night in fear and conscience remorse that they had handed over Zainab to a beast. We were just coming out of our houses when we heard the sound of horses’ hooves [music] from a distance.
At first people thought that perhaps some new punishment was coming. But when the dust cloud fell, everyone’s [MUSIC] eyes were wide open in surprise. It was not a torture but a royal caravan. [Music] A sparkling carriage drawn by four white horses, the gold work on which dazzled in the sunlight. Slowly, we moved on the village’s unpaved road.
Loyal soldiers, dressed in their shining spears and royal uniforms, stood guard around the carriage. There was chaos in the entire village. Chaudhary Hasht was standing in the veranda of his mansion, handling his turban with trembling hands. My dear Bakhto, who had become restless after crying all night.
Seeing this scene with her blurred eyes, she was surprised and wondered, O God, what is this? The buggy stopped right in front of Chaudhary’s mansion. The soldier quickly opened the door and first a very intelligent and respectable young man came down. There was such majesty in his personality that every person standing in front of him was forced to bow involuntarily.
But the real miracle happened when the young man extended his hand and a queen-like lady came out from inside the buggy. She was Zainab. But not the Zainab whom people bid farewell to sobbing at night [music]. He was wearing a silken dress. A diamond chandelier was shining on his forehead and there was that peace and dignity on his face which is achieved only with the victory of truth.
There was silence in the entire gathering. People started whispering into each other’s ears. Is this the same girl? Didn’t that snake eat it ? Chaudhary Hasdat seemed to have turned into stone. Shahamir ordered the soldiers in his resonant voice. Make the announcement. There will be a royal feast in front of this mansion tonight.
[Music] Everyone from the entire village, young and old, should be present here. We want to see how the people of this village welcome the symbol of their sacrifice. When night fell, the field in front of the mansion was illuminated with the light of lamps. The aroma of Anav o Aksam’s food [music] permeated the air.
But due to the villagers’ agitation, it was difficult to swallow the morsel. Shahamir and Zainab were sitting on a high throne. Shahamir silenced everyone with a gesture of his hand and stood up. O villagers, Shahamir’s voice pierced the silence of the night. You all are here today attending a feast hosted by a prince.
But do you remember that last night at this very place you had sold an orphan girl. The black curse due to whose fear you sacrificed your daughter was none other than me myself. People bowed their heads in shame. Shahmir pointed to Chaudhry Hashdat who was huddled in the corner of the sofa [music]. You thought that by pushing Zainab to death you would save yourself.
You called it a symbol of sacrifice, right? So listen. Zainab has become not a symbol of sacrifice but a symbol of your cowardice and my salvation. Shahamir held Zainab’s hand and looked proudly at the gathering [music]. This girl supported me when I was suffering like an ugly snake. When you were all ready to throw stones.
He fed me milk. When you took out torches to kill me. He left his fortune to me. Despite being a human being, you proved to be worse than animals and Zainab found a human being even in an animal. Zainab was watching everything silently. There was no longer a fire of revenge in his eyes but a deep [music] sadness.
She felt sorry for the people among whom she had grown up. But in difficult times everyone became strangers. Shah Mir continued his talk. Today I am taking Zainab away from here forever. She is now the queen of that kingdom where mercy and justice rule. [music] And you will live in the same fear and conscience that you sold an innocent [music].
This is your punishment that you will live with this shame for the rest of your life. The feast ended but no one’s heart found peace. Shahamir called Mai Bakht and gave her a bag full of gold coins and offered to come with him to the palace. Which Mai Bakht accepted while crying. When the carriage departed again, the entire village stood by the roadside, watching with folded hands.
Zainab turned back and looked at her old hut and then looked at Shah Mir with a smile. Now he had a new life in front of him. A future where he would never again be the target of anyone’s insensitivity. Only a silence of regret remained in the atmosphere of the village which [music] was to follow them for years. Shahmir took over his kingdom and imprisoned his uncle.
