Getty On a recent episode of iHeartRadio’s podcast “I’ve Never Said This Before With Tommy DiDario”, Consuelos shared the secret to their long-lasting marriage, crediting advice from his father. “One of the great things my dad taught me was… ‘Find somebody who’s going to pull you up, make you better,’” he revealed. “And I did. Mark and Kelly are parents to three children: Michael, 28, Lola, 24, and Joaquin, 23. On their 30th anniversary, Ripa described marrying Mark as “the best thing [she’s] ever done,” while Consuelos said the decision “wasn’t even a decision—it was destined to happen.” Previously, Ripa spoke about the challenges of marriage, noting on Live with Kelly and Ryan Seacrest: “Relationships are not sprints—it’s a marathon.
