Joaquin Consuelos has made his Broadway debut in the highly anticipated revival of Death of a Salesman, marking a major milestone in his career. On April 9, 2026, the 23-year-old actor celebrated this huge achievement at the opening night afterparty, joined by his proud parents, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos. The play, directed by Joe Mantello, stars Joaquin alongside seasoned Broadway veterans Nathan Lane and Laurie Metcalf.

Kelly and Mark couldn’t contain their pride, sharing glowing reviews of Joaquin’s performance on Live with Kelly and Mark. Kelly described the show as “unbelievable” and admitted that seeing their son on stage took her breath away. “It’s crazy. Doesn’t make any sense,” she added, reflecting on how far Joaquin has come since his childhood.

This Broadway debut comes after Joaquin graduated from the University of Michigan’s prestigious School of Music, Theatre & Dance in May 2025. He plays the young Biff in this emotional production, which tackles the disillusionment of the American Dream through the troubled Loman family.

Mark Consuelos, also making his Broadway debut this season in Fallen Angels, attended Joaquin’s first preview on March 6, much earlier than Kelly, who respected her son’s wish to wait until opening night. The proud father was visibly moved by Joaquin’s performance, admitting that he watched the entire three-hour play “with a smile on my face” and even shed a few tears.

Death of a Salesman runs through August 9, 2026, at the Winter Garden Theatre, and tickets are now on sale. The cast also includes Christopher Abbott, Ben Ahlers, and a host of talented actors. Don’t miss the chance to witness Joaquin Consuelos’ star-making moment on Broadway.
